Preschool

Literacy Development
Literacy is cultivated through daily, age-appropriate phonics instruction that emphasizes recognition of uppercase and lowercase letters, understanding of letter sounds, and the ability to blend sounds to form words. As students progress, they build a foundation of sight word recognition and engage with decodable texts to apply and strengthen their emerging reading skills. Throughout the day, students are immersed in spoken language experiences in both whole-group and small-group settings, supporting their overall language development.
Spiritual Development
Students participate in daily biblical instruction through stories, songs, memory verses, and prayer. This consistent engagement helps them develop a strong foundational understanding of Scripture and supports their growing knowledge of who Jesus is. Students in K3 and K4 attend Kinder Chapel every Tuesday to engage in worship and hear God's message.
Math Development
Students develop foundational math skills through counting, number recognition, and hands-on learning manipulatives. By the end of their K4 year, students are able to count to 100, are able to complete basic addition and subtraction problems, and are introduced to mathematical topics such as fractions, sorting, and classifying.
Fine and Gross Motor Skill Development
Students develop fine and gross motor skills through daily, hands-on play experiences. They engage with a variety of materials such as building components, chalk, play dough, paint, crayons, and markers to strengthen coordination and creativity. Outdoor activities, including swinging, sliding, running, and ball play, further support their physical development and overall motor skill growth.
