The Parent Teacher Fellowship is an organization designed to enhance involvement of family in the life of the school. Annual membership dues are $10 per family.
Curtis Baptist School encourages parents to attend and participate in these meetings to foster the relationship between the family and the school. PTF also plays a financial role at CBS through fundraising. The Christmas store is a favorite among the children. It gives them the opportunity to shop for their loved ones for pennies on the dollar! PTF members work year round to stock the store with lots of really nice items.
Money raised through the efforts of parent volunteers contributes to the operating budget because tuition does not cover all the school costs. PTF fundraising also goes to providing some of the extras that add depth and quality to the school. Last year, PTF brought in the Augusta Opera production of Little Red Riding Hood featuring Russell Joel Brown.
For more information call our PTF President, Calvin Burgess, at 803-279-6017 or e-mail ptf@curtisbaptist.org.
Each family is important to the success of our school!
