 Joseph Bell received his BA in English and a minor in Sociology from ASU. His teaching career began in 2006. He has served as a Bible teacher, Christian small groups leader, and an English Instructor. He is married to Cortney.. Mr. Bell enjoys football, reading, and jogging. He teaches high school English.  Cookie Bodie teaches kindergarten at Curtis. She is an active member of Curtis Baptist Church where she has taught four and five year old Sunday School, Bible School, Girls in Action, and Baptist Young Women. She is married to Jimmie Bodie. They have two daughters who attended Curtis Baptist School K-5 through 12th grade. Kim is married to Mike Harden and they have three children Alyson, Kinsey, and Jake.  Mrs. Burroughs earned her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Victory Baptist College, her M. Ed. from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida, and recently completed her Ed. S. degree in Administration at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. She is presently pursuing her Ed. D. in Administration/Leadership. This is her third year at Curtis and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her God-given gifts with our students and their families. Her career in education spans two decades. She and her husband, Steve have been married twenty-nine years. They have two children who are the love of their lives. Steven is twenty-seven and lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Briana is twenty-three and is married to Andy She is in her third year of college at ASU. Mrs. Burroughs attends Victory Baptist Church in North Augusta.

 Claude Bussey has been volunteering as a bus driver for the last ten years and currently maintains our bus fleet. He considers it a blessing to work with Christian people at Curtis because the majority of his career was spent in the construction industry. Claude is married to Pamela and they have one daughter, Anne, who is in tenth grade at Curtis. He has served as a Shriner since 1972 with the designation of Hospital Chairman in 2000 and 2001 for the Columbia, SC Headquarters. Claude retired from the Army Corps of Engineers after 20 years and worked with FEMA in Goldsboro, NC and Guam during emergency situations. Claude is also a retired McCormick County Summary Court Judge. In his spare time, he enjoys helping friends with mechanical problems.
 Jennifer Coffey obtained a B.A. degree in Elementary Education at Berea College. Jennifer grew up in the state of Virginia. Mrs. Coffey has been teaching at Curtis Baptist School since 1993 and prior to that she taught for fifteen years at a mission school in Kentucky. She has twenty-seven M.A. hours in Elementary Counseling. Mrs. Coffey has two sons, Kevin, a graduate of North Greenville University and Stephen a tenth grader at Curtis. Jennifer enjoys reading, gardening, and teaching. She is a member of Curtis Baptist Church. Jennifer is thankful to teach in a school where she can faithfully share the word of God and see the building of God's kingdom, one life at a time.

 Donna Cole earned an A.S. in Education from Brunswick Junior College and both her B.S. and Master's degree in Elementary Education from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. She taught one year in public school before she moved to Christian education. She has taught in Christian education for over twenty years. She attends Curtis Baptist Church with her husband, David. They have two children. Allison graduated from Curtis Baptist School and is now attending University of South Carolina-Aiken. James also graduated form Curtis and attends the University of South Carolina-Beauford.

 Kay Cook has been a familiar face at CBS for over fifteen years. After volunteering her time for several years as a parent, the school quickly realized what an asset she was and put her to work! Kay has served Curtis as an office volunteer, substitute teacher, elementary school yearbook editor, clinic worker, fundraising coordinator, and secretary. Her love for the children and families of Curtis makes her an ideal choice. Kay has been married to Charles Cook for almost thirty two years, and they have two children: Michelle and Chase, both Curtis graduates. She is also the proud mother of Moose, a miniature Schnauzer. Kay is a member of Curtis Baptist Church, and when she is not busy serving our school, she enjoys flower gardening, as well as bird-watching and reading in her swing.
