Michael Salomone earned a B.A. degree in History after graduating from The Citadel in 1997. He founded the Citadel's club Soccer team and was also a member of Boxing Club. Mr. Salomone worked for nine years in Broadcast News as a producer for WJBF Newschannel Six and WAGT 26 News. He is currently working on a Masters Degree in Teaching at ASU. Mr. Salomone enjoys playing soccer, golf, tennis, and strategy games in his spare time.

Melinda Sanders graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University with a B.A. degree in Elementary Education. This is her twenty-second year of teaching and her ninth year at Curtis Baptist School. Mrs. Sanders teaches fifth grade in our middle school. She and her husband, Charles, have two children, Lauren and Ben. In her free time, she enjoys reading, surfing the internet, and geocaching.

Melodie Moody Still earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 1992 and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lander University in 1997. She taught high school science at W. Wyman King Academy in Batesburg, South Carolina and Strom Thurmond High School in Edgefield, South Carolina. Mrs. Still has been married to her husband Dean for eighteen years. They have three children, Harper, Claire, and Jennings, who attend Curtis Baptist School. When she is not spending time with her family, Mrs. Still tutors high school and college students in math and science. She also works in Journeyland at TrueNorth Church, and her family has recently started taking local mission trips. Her hobbies include knitting, crocheting, weaving, and canning.

Sharon Tanner received MA and BA degrees in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama. She has taught school for more than twenty-nine years; the past fifteen at Curtis Baptist School. Mrs. Tanner is married to Grier Tanner, who is also a teacher. They have four children; Noel, Tabitha, Nathan, and Bethany. Her greatest desire as an educator is to see her students grow closer to the Lord Jesus Christ and then to excel academically to the very best of their ability. Mrs. Tanner also keeps busy doing freelance photography.

Sherry West, now with us for her fifth year, is sharing her talents with Mrs. McDonald in the finance office. She has two boys at Curtis; Jonathan is in the eleventh grade and Samuel is in the sixth grade. Ms. West has been saved for seventeen years and shares that each day the Lord is sweeter and more precious to her. She has learned so much and met some of the most wonderful people at Curtis. Sherry believes that it is a true blessing to work with people who love the Lord.
