Carol McDonald has been working in the accounting field since 1971. She has worked for many major corporations throughout the CSRA including Lily Cup, the Department of the Army and the Social Security Administration. She has been married to her husband, Barry, for forty-four years and they have two grown children. Barry, Jr. and Stephanie are both Curtis Alumni. Carol also has two grandchildren, Wyatt and Abigail. Mrs. McDonald is a member of Curtis Baptist Church. When she is not counting the money at the school, Carol enjoys decorating and spending quality time with her family.

Stephanie Miller received a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education at Augusta State University where she was a member of the Lady Jaguar's softball team and ASU choir for four years. She served as the varsity softball coach for Augusta Christian Schools for two years. Miss Miller came to Curtis Baptist School to work part-time and now serves our school on a full-time basis. She teaches elementary Spanish and is the director of the middle and high school chorus program. Miss Miller is also the varsity softball coach for the Lady Crusaders. She is a member of Fleming Baptist Church where she is part of the adult choir.

Krishna Nichols is the high school secretary. Krishna is a seasoned military wife and mother of three Curtis students. Monique, a graduate of Curtis, Jasmine an eleventh grader , and Trinity who in the fifth grade. Krishna is originally from Miami, Florida but moved to Augusta with husband, Bruce, who is a United States Marine stationed at Fort Gordon. She enjoys listening to gospel music and playing with her pooch Max "Greyhunter" Nichols.

Elizabeth Nordan earned a B. Music degree from Valdosta State University and an M.A.T. in Early Childhood Education from Augusta State University. She entered the ministry of Christian school education nine years ago and came to Curtis last year. She serves each day gratefully in the knowledge that God has directed her here and given her exactly the students He wants her to have. In June, she and her husband, Rob, will have been married for 32 years. They have four grown children and four grandchildren. Mrs. Nordan attends West Acres Baptist Church where she joyfully serves in the orchestra, on a praise team, and in the drama ministry.

Kitty Pevey received a B.S. from Mary Hardin Baylor University in Belton, Texas and has over twenty years of experience teaching elementary grades. Over the years, Kitty has described the children she taught as "medicine for the heart" and finds each is refreshing and rejuvenating. Kitty is married to Curtis Baptist School's headmaster, Bill Pevey, and the couple has three grown children. Their oldest son, Aaron, completed a Master's degree in English last May, and he and his wife Liz, reside in Atlanta after recently returning from Korea where they taught English. Ryan, a Captain with the 25th Infantry and a former basketball player for the University of Georgia, lives with his wife, Christy, in Hawaii. Their daughter, Alena, graduated from Bryan College with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, and is teaching fourth grade in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mrs. Pevey is passionate about her home based Shaklee nutritional business. It is very rewarding to help people find better health. Her prayer is that God's purpose for her at Curtis will be fulfilled, and along that journey, she will enjoy the company of a warm and loving elementary faculty.

Gail Robinson received a Bachelor of Engineering from Georgia Tech and completed biology and education courses for certification at Augusta State University. Mrs. Robinson worked fifteen years at the Savannah River Site in engineering technical support positions. Married to Tom Robinson, they have two children, Eric (twenty-two) and Andrew (nineteen). She enjoys gardening, reading, and scrapbooking.
